THE ART OF REGENERATION: THE ROLE OF CULTURE AS AN ENGINE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND WELL-BEING OF URBAN DEVICES
The exhibition Déjà Vu by the Thai artist Natee Utarit (Bangkok 1970) will be held at the Renaissance Cloister of the Church of Santa Caterina in Formiello showcasing the testimonies of an imaginary journey of Buddha in Naples. As the curator of the exhibition, Demetrio Paparoni, points out, Utarit imagines a hybrid place and a time in which the Greco-Roman culture and that of Buddhist Asia meet and interact, in a constructive relationship of interchange.

When You're Strange, by Tom DiCillo, is the story of the iconic rock quartet formed in 1965. The thrilling story of the Doors-phenomenon, from the beginning in the corridors of the Ucla Film School in Los Angeles to the tragic death of Jim Morrison, in Paris 1971. When you're strange, narrated by Johnny Depp, is the story of the genesis of one of the most legendary rock bands on the globe, whose name is due to Aldous Huxley's book The Doors of Perception, which inspired the young musicians. Rich with precious new video repertoire, between backstage and live performances, the Tom DiCillo documentary is the story of five years of dreams, excesses and extraordinary artistic visions, up to the birth of an immortal icon.
